January is finally over and I’m fully one month into my reading challenges. Luckily, I’m ahead of schedule for my general goal of reading 100 books this year, so that’s a plus! But I’ll break down how things went this past month.
- Total Pages: 2,848
- Total Books: 11
- Total Read Harder Challenge Books Completed: 4 (Pantheon, Lady Susan, Love Your Monsters, & Today Means Amen)
- Total Reading Women Challenge Books Completed: 4 (Lady Susan, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Talking Women, and The Traitor in the Tunnel)
- Total Our Shared Shelf Books Completed: 0
So, to recap: I did pretty decently, I think! I’m reading at a steady pace and I completed several books from my challenges, which is a good start. Though I didn’t finish the book for Emma Watson’s book club (Our Shared Shelf), I still have February to complete it as Emma’s club doubles up months for their selections. Plus, my library only has one copy in the system and it was checked out, so I purchased a copy, but since it’s a UK publication, it took some time coming to me. I look forward to reading it this month!
